Thank you for choosing to trial a bit through The Horse Bit Shop. Choosing the correct bit for your horse is very important and with the trial facility that we provide you can try as many bits as you like for a fraction of the retail price.
If you have received a previously used bit for trial and you would like to exchange it for a brand new one then there is an option to return the bit for exchange. If you need to keep the trial bit until the new one arrives then just give us a call on 01405 861800 to discuss and we can make arrangements so that you are not without a bit.
If you are happy to keep the bit you have then there is nothing further for you to do as the bit is already paid for.
A bit can only be returned used if the ’30 Day Trial’ option was selected at the time of purchase and it is within the trial period (30 days from dispatch). We accept normal wear on a returned bit but it must be returned fit for purpose. We also request that all items be clean and dry on return. Please DO NOT put bits in the dishwasher or use abrasive cleaning solutions as this can damage the material.
We strongly recommend that you use a trackable delivery service (such as Royal Mail tracked) for returns as the item remains your responsibility until it is returned to The Horse Bit Shop. Refunds will only be made upon return of the item, refunds will not be made for any returned item lost in transit.

If you find, upon receiving the item, that it does not look suitable then this can be returned for a refund of the full purchase price providing it is in new, unused condition, with all packaging and labels intact. Please contact us within 7 working days to advise that you wish to return the item.
Upon receipt of the item a refund of the full purchase price of the item will be processed. Postage costs will not be reimbursed unless an incorrect item has been received.
